Keeping a distance is important for road safety. The Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a set distance to other vehicles down to a full stop – and then automatically starts again when the traffic keeps going. This is an improvement when driving in stop and go traffic where it perfects the driving comfort.

Taking off made more convenient and safer. Auto Hold automatically applies the brakes to hold the truck in position until the driver pushes the accelerator. There’s no need to keep the foot on the brake pedal once the truck stands still. This works in both forward and reverse – uphill, downhill or on flat surfaces.

At speed, distance equals safety margins. The Collision Warning with Emergency Brake alerts the driver if the distance shrinks and the system detects a certain risk of a collision. If no action is taken, the vehicle brakes are applied to stop the truck.

Light the way ahead and use the high beam without disturbing the oncoming traffic. The Adaptive High Beam dynamically changes the light beam to improve safety both for the truck driver and other road users.

Keep track of the pressure in every tire of the vehicle combination. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System alerts the driver about low air pressure, fast leakage or high temperature. It’s the ultimate protection against accidents caused by blown tires.
